Premium beauty giant Sephora is ramping up its store opening activity in the UK market with its arrival in Newcastle this autumn.
After opening two locations in London and its recent Manchester announcement, it will open two stores in Newcastle with the company saying it has “has listened again to the overwhelming demand from [its] engaged community”.
The city’s key retail destinations Eldon Square and the MetroCentre will be the new destinations for the stores.
Sarah Boyd, Managing Director of Sephora UK, said that “opening not one, but two amazing beauty playgrounds at the same time is a bold step, and one we have great confidence in”.
Both stores will include make-up, travel, fragrance, skincare, haircare, grooming and wellness. And exclusive brands available will include Makeup by Mario, GXVE by Gwen Stefani, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Adwoa Beauty, Salt & Stone, Naked Sundays and Topicals.
The Eldon Square store will cover 6,515 sq ft of floor space with Metrocentre covering 6,180 sq ft.
The company’s first store in its UK comeback opened only a little over a year ago and was seen to be an instant success. It was followed up by a second London store in November (both of them at Westfield malls).
