Georgia Amoore leads No. 15 UK to third straight SEC win

GAINESVILLE, FL (WYMT) – No. 15 UK came into Gainesville, Florida and dominated the Gators from the opening tip-off, 71-55.

Kentucky shot 50% from the field early on and ended the first quarter with a 10-point lead, 20-10.

Georgia Amoore’s 14 points in the first half helped the Cats grow their lead to 41-19 by the halftime break.

Amoore finished with 18 points, four steals, four assists, and five rebounds. Dazia Lawrence and Clara Strack also ended the night in double figures.

Coming up next, the Cats return to Historic Memorial Coliseum on Sunday to face Auburn at 3:00 p.m.

The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
