A class of 2023 recruit, the 6-foot-7, 190-pound Stojakovic was a McDonald’s All-American who finished 25th overall and fifth among small forwards, according to 247 Sports Composite.
As a true freshman in the Pac-12, the talented wing appeared in 32 games (10 starts), averaging 7.8 points on 40.9% shooting, including a 32.7% rate on 3-pointers in 22.3 minutes per game. 3.3 of his 7.6 field-goal attempts per game came from 3-point land. He also chipped in 3.4 rebounds and 0.9 assists per outing.
Stojakovic’s best game of the season came in a 98-68 home win over USC, where he went off for 20 points on 8/12 shooting (4/7 from deep) with six boards and three assists.
Kentucky actually offered Stojakovic a scholarship out of high school but ultimately faded in his recruitment, so he is familiar with the program.
Because Stojakovic has three years of eligibility remaining and is a former McDonald’s All-American, he’s viewed as one of the best long-term prospects currently in the transfer portal. He may not be ready to come in and be a high-level starter right away, but he’s got the potential to grow into an impact player as his career progresses.
