The SEC has announced the 2024-25 opponents for all 16 teams next season, including the Kentucky Wildcats’ 18-game slate.
As reported earlier, Kentucky will only get one game vs. John Calipari and Arkansas, who will come at Rupp Arena. The Cats will also host Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.
On the road, the Wildcats will play at Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and SEC newcomers Texas and Oklahoma.
Because Texas and Oklahoma joined the league, it led to Kentucky and Florida no longer being permanent home-and-away opponents. Kentucky still has that with Vanderbilt and Tennessee.
In a recent way-too-early top 25 for next season by ESPN’s Jeff Borzello, seven SEC teams made the cut: No. 6 Alabama, No. 11 Texas A&M, No. 12 Auburn, No. 15 Florida, No. 19 Arkansas, No. 20 Tennessee, and No. 21 Texas. Kentucky has nine games vs. those teams.
Gonna be another loaded schedule for the Cats.
